Thanksgiving 2021

Hi, Everyone!

Here comes Thanksgiving signaling the holiday season. Depending on expectations, it can be the best or worst time of year. It’s down to the choices we make about what’s important to us. I’m lucky and, if you have as much to be thankful for as I do in 2021, then you are lucky too.

I just want to fill you in on what’s new with my artwork, and I promise to be brief.

I’m working on a Custom Commission that’s challenging. If you have children or loved ones participating in organized sports activities, and you are anything like me, you know there is nothing quite like watching them compete in a game about which you have lost all objectivity. It’s a feeling that is difficult to describe. I’m painting a picture now of a team of girls celebrating the joy of victory. It will be about 24” by 36” in size and contain multiple figures. I look forward to posting it on this website once it is finished.

I have decided to cut the prices of all signed, Giclee Prints of my artwork by at least 40% for two reasons. First, it is the holiday season; and secondly, more importantly, I realized that I value exposure most. The website shows prices for two size options: 16” by 20” prints and 18” by 24” prints, both on heavy archival paper stock. However, my printer, Digital Arts Studio, can make a Giclee Print of practically any dimensions. For example, the average cost of my 8” by 10” print is $35 and the 11” by 16” print is $50. In addition, the printer packs and ships the artwork professionally and there will be no charge to you. Finally, there is currently no better printing process in the world of Fine Art.

The website manager, has added several enhancements, making the website more user friendly, within my budget constraints. In the Portfolio Section, I have written a brief description of the origin and inspiration of each piece of artwork. Hopefully, you will find the text informative and interesting.

Lastly, I will be uploading at least 6 new paintings available for sale in the next few weeks.

That’s it for now. Thank you for your time and have a great rest of 2021!
